The 2004 Callaway Corvette Reunion was a HUGE Success!!!

Dear Friends,

Please enjoy the pictures of yet another great Callaway Owners Group event, our gathering at Corvettes at Carlisle 2004. This year has truly been a pinnacle year for us Callaway Owners. We have seen a tremendous amount of press coverage and a sense of renewed interest in the products of Callaway Cars. It is truly a very exciting time to own and drive a Callaway Car and participate in Callaway Owners Group (COG) events.

2004 began with great press coverage at the Barrett-Jackson auction, publication of Susan Callaway's spectacular and recently completed Speedster, the cars of Reeves Callaway featured as the Special Collection XX at Bloomington Corvettes, and now a gathering at Carlisle Corvettes in conjunction with the announcement of the Carlisle Callaway Corvette C36 . Between these events we have also seen Callaway Cars provide great support to the B2K owners with newly available parts, C5 Corvette products and "Power Groups", a Callaway SSR, an announcement about GTO products, and more to come for the C6 Corvette platform. And, we also hope to see additional press coverage from Carlisle, SEMA, and additional B2K coverage in various future publications.

Due to time constraints and work commitments, I was not able to bring my car to Carlisle this year. I arrived late on Saturday due to flight delays but got there in time to say hello to Joanne and friends at the Callaway booth and the COG tent. Before I was able to break out the camera, it started raining Florida style :-). Therefore, I was only able to take pictures of the show on Sunday. So I want to extend a special thanks to Reuben McCracken, a true Callaway enthusiasts and hopefully future B2K owner for helping me out by taking pictures on Saturday and including them in this CD.

With our stomachs full from a great dinner, the 2nd annual Callaway Creeper Challenge was held in the hotel parking lot. That event drew a bit of a crowd and hotel security stood by to keep us protected :-). Congratulations to the team of Chris and Joanne who remain undefeated for the 2nd year now. Thanks to Joe, Chris, and Callaway Cars for the prizes and in organizing the creeper challenge, and many Thanks to Chris for coordinating the dinner, hotel facilities, and tent, and in rallying the troops.

It is always great to get together with fellow Callaway Owners and the staff from Callaway Cars. It was also great to see Lance continue the Carlisle event with the same passion, care, tradition, and enthusiasms as his father, Chip Miller.

I hope to see you all again next year at Corvettes @ Carlisle 2005.

Greetings,

Turbo Luigi
