Thanks Josh...they need to be refinished to do justice to the wheels, but even now they look so good on the wheel that I just can't keep them off. I hope to find time the next few weeks to get the starter rebuilt/replaced and the small oil leak addressed as well.

1988 Calloway #24. It has approx 42k miles, seems clean and everything works. Red interior. I have had it for about a month. Just getting around to getting license and insurance squared away, as summer is flying by and every day seems busier than the last. Just trying to learn more about them. If anyone has a recommendation for somewhere in the Minneapolis area where I might be able to have it checked out/tuned up and get regular maintenance that would be greatly appreciated.

Beautiful Vert PretendHero, and welcome to COG! If you're in the Twin Cities area, I'd recommend contacting Doug Rippie Motorsports to see if they'd be able to help you out. DRM are very well known and highly regarded and I believe they have helped other B2K owners in the past...I think they'd be a good place to start, good luck. :beer

Here's my 1984 VW Rabbit Gti Stage II Callaway Turbo with 52K original miles. It's an original CA car I picked up from the original owner who modified it extensively. It's been brought back to road legal status this January 2019 after being off the road since 1997. Has the A/C based intercooler, Microfueler with extra injector, and still runs the Deltagate MarkII. Pretty extensively modified from stock including Recaro LSC seats with matching rear seat and door panels, Koni Cup kit, Momo wheel, and rides on currently hideous 16" wheels which will finally be going soon in favor of period correct 15"ers. Continued refurbishment for reliability will be ongoing so I can get more driving in for 2020.
I don't see much activity here on the early water-cooled VW based Callaway cars (hi Jeroen) but thought I'd join to say hi to everyone anyways!

Cars and Coffee on Whidbey Island, WA, from a few weeks ago. Too cold and rainy since, so it will probably stay warm and dry in the garage until spring.

Cheers,
Scott

Thanks, Chris. Also, tried to catch Scott last week to talk about the EPROM, but never got through. I'll try again next week.

Cheers,
Scott
